A number of the vets have an interest in treating many exotic species.
Other regular visitors include Birds of Prey, Parrots, Swans, Fish, Snakes, Lizards and Tortoises to name just a few. The Clinic is also responsible for treating Woburn Safari Park animals and so the slightly larger exotics also come in for treatment!
There are specialist facilities for accommodating Exotic pets;
> Separate Small Mammal ward with controlled lighting, temperature and ventilation.
> Separate Exotics ward with controlled lighting, temperature and ventilation.
Vivaria with infra-red heating. Individual thermostatically controlled isolation avian units with facilities for oxygen delivery, temperature control and nebulisation.

> In-house laboratory including Biochemical and Haematological blood analysis
> Endoscopy
> ECG
> Digital Radiography
> Ultrasound
> Doppler
> Ventilator
